Job description

As a Property Finance Manager you are responsible for all financial and administrative matters within Nedstede’s management and rental portfolio. You manage the team at the Amsterdam office and the accountant of the Leisure companies at the Utrecht office. You maintain a complete overview and ensure that all work processes run optimally and smoothly. You also enjoy working proactively on further optimizing our financial and administrative processes, so that we can continue to grow as an organization.
Your duties will include:

• You manage the financial team;

• You check the general ledger and prepare VAT returns;

• You check the general ledger for the annual work and provide all necessary documents to the accountant;

• You make the necessary bookings for the annual work (including VJPs);

• You independently draw up new rental agreements, allongs and settlement agreements and/or check them in case the broker/lawyer/company lawyer has drawn up these agreements;

• Assessing financial (system) procedures and implementing improvements after approval;

• Managing properties that are part of a homeowners’ association;

• You prepare and check service charge statements with tenants;

• You enter rental agreements and allongs in the REMS management system or check these entries;

• You take care of indexations, invoicing and implement extensions in the REMS management system or check these entries;
• You pick up common technical issues;

• You enter property data in the REMS management system;

• You draw up penalty notes and charges;

• You have contact with real estate agents and tenants;

• You check creditor and debtor management;

• Where necessary, you provide support with other administrative tasks.

For this position we are looking for someone who knows how to keep a cool head in the hectic environment of a dynamic company, manages things tightly and likes to tackle things. You like to learn new things quickly and are enthusiastic and cheerful. But you are above all service-oriented and flexible. We are also looking for a match in the following areas:

• A completed HBO course in financial administration (HEAO/Business Studies);

• Between 3 and 10 years of work experience in financial administration and also experience with REMS or a similar program;

• Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations in the field of property management, rental and homeowners’ association is an advantage. The most important thing is that you are eager to learn and fully immerse yourself in this matter.

• Good command of the Dutch and English language, spoken and written;

• Good knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office; • A team player, but able to work independently. Our standard is short lines of communication between colleagues;

• No 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. mentality (flexibility);

• You are also accurate, organized, stress-resistant and you have a proactive commercial attitude.
