Ford Garage Greve at Meppelerweg 32 has been given a new purpose in the coming months. As of Thursday, October 5, the furniture outlet of Marco Marknesse Woonadviseurs will be located in the building. The shop doors opened on Thursday morning.
After being used as a car garage and in recent years as a GGD testing location during the corona pandemic, there is now a nicer destination for the building on the Meppelerweg. Inexpensive furniture and box spring beds will be sold in the former garage over the next three months of October, November and December.
The tenant is Bert Jan Bonthuis, owner of interior design consultant Marco Marknesse. “A while ago we had a temporary outlet for our furniture in Emmeloord and that went very well,” says Bert Jan. “And just really fun to do. We saw this beautiful building on the Meppelerweg in Steenwijk and we immediately started talking. We then ensured that we had sufficient stock, because everything is available from stock. People can take the furniture directly with them, but we can also deliver it to their home. With us you don’t have to wait months for your new furniture or bed.”
In Marco Marknesse Outlet you will find a wide choice of the latest sofas, (corner) sofas, (relax) armchairs, dining tables and dining room chairs, as well as box spring beds and floor coverings such as click laminate and click PVC. “In fact, almost everything to completely redecorate your home,” says Bonthuis. “We also have cupboards and dressers, but the choice is slightly more limited.”
Marco Marknesse Outlet is open from Thursday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
