Job description
What will you do as a Technical Manager?
There is a lot of diversity in this position, so your day will never look the same. Most of the days you can be found at the locations to coordinate your projects, do technical recordings or solve a malfunction. Approximately 2 days a week are intended for internal consultations, strategy, coordination and updating the administration. For the latter, the tech team, of which you are part, is supported by an administrative employee.
You are responsible for, among other things
- Drawing up plans and budgets with regard to technical management (MJOPs).
- Providing preventive maintenance by deploying the right parties;
- Supervising (project management) of renovations and conversions (small and large);
- Carrying out periodic object inspections;
- Consulting with tenants and owners in collaboration with organizing and attending;
- Carrying out technical due diligence investigations and reporting on them;
- Actively contributing to further professionalization of the company;
- Be responsible for managing and coordinating the handling of all disruptions at the locations;
- Request quotes and test them against the market and budget;
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that technical aspects are included in the quotations and that customer expectations are met;
- Maintain short lines of communication with management and asset manager to coordinate the (technical) strategy and discuss bottlenecks;
- Monitor the quality of the work carried out and ensure that NewDay complies with applicable regulations and safety standards;
- Manage and carefully document technical documentation and maintenance reports.
This is you
To perform this role flawlessly, we believe that the ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience and skills:
- You are trained in construction (minimum HBO level);
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar position;
- You have knowledge of relevant laws and regulations regarding construction and technology;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal teams, suppliers and external partners;
- You are proactive and with the help of professional knowledge you convince the shareholders of your choices;
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously;
- Preferably a good network of suppliers to be able to switch quickly;
- Problem-solving ability and stress resistance;
- Preferably living centrally in the Netherlands.
