De Koningh has a large number of setups in the Experience Center, which provide a good overview of the wide range of solutions for coding, labeling, product inspection and control. “Here we show what we can do and what we stand for: professional knowledge, service and fast delivery,” says Bert-Jan Dijk. The machine builders were the first to become acquainted with the benefits of an Experience Center.
Wish fulfilled
This has fulfilled a wish for Bert-Jan Dijk. ‘We had to be patient, but now we have a space where we can really show our customers what we have to offer. Our broad portfolio means that there are so many possibilities that it is important that we show concrete applications. Visitors gain inspiration for their own production and packaging environment and have the opportunity to see our solutions in action and speak directly to the product specialists. We supply directly, but also via machine builders who are happy to use our systems.’ In addition to the 500m2 experience center, De Koningh has also expanded the warehouse by 500m2. This was necessary to be able to supply standard and common machines from stock.

Anyone visiting the Experience Center should take some time. A tour with André Trip, responsible for software integration for the coding equipment, gave a good first impression. Without being complete, a selection of the machines installed.
An Altech 2 sides in 1 stop pallet labeler with automatic height adjustment stands next to an Altech installation with print & apply application for labeling boxes. A similar application exists for logistical shipping. Labels are printed and applied directly to shipping boxes. This happens at a higher speed, about 60 meters per minute. Then there are the smaller and flexible ALritma’s, fast applicators that only apply a label. This may, for example, concern promotional labels that need to be applied. The applicator is easy to place above a tire.
