From Friday, October 13, keyless entry covers can again be collected for free at the counter of the Huis van Albrandswaard, the municipality itself announced. During the previous promotion this spring, there was so much demand for the covers that they were gone within a week. That is why the municipality has ordered a new stock of covers that can be collected free of charge from this week, Safety Week.
Easy target
More and more people have a car with keyless entry, where you unlock your car without a key. Within range of the car, the key is detected by the car and automatically unlocks. Very handy of course, but unfortunately also an easy target for car theft. Criminals can intercept the signal within six meters. Therefore, use a keyless entry case for protection. No signal gets through here. The car can only be opened without a key when you take it out of the case.
Pick up case
Residents of the municipality of Albrandswaard can pick up a keyless entry case for free at the Huis van Albrandswaard, Stationsstraat 4 in Rhoon. Collection is possible from October 13. Maximum 1 case per person and when it’s gone, it’s gone.
