Job description
What will you do as an Area Economist at Gloudemans?
You work in a team of 6 area economists and are responsible for issues relating to cost recovery, operating contributions, land values, risk analyses, land policy and area and land development.
Your work is focused on various interesting (strategic) consultancy projects, discussing an initial draft advice with (junior) consultants, making appointments with potential clients and supporting your fellow consultants and appraisers in their assignments.
These assignments can also consist of temporary assignments for a maximum of half the time. For clients, in addition to the arithmetic work (such as cost recovery, area and land development), you are also the advisor on matters such as the annual accounts, the zoning plan, agreements, area developments large and small and land matters.

What are you taking with you?
- You have an affinity with area developments, easily advise on finances for area developments and calculate real estate, land or area. With your strong arithmetic skills, you make calculations for cost recovery and make complex calculations visual and understandable. You also write advice, policy documents and operating plans/cost recovery rules. You enjoy going out independently and also enjoy working in a team.
- You have a completed HBO/WO education in the field of spatial planning, construction, spatial planning, technical business administration, real estate or similar
- You have at least 5 years of relevant work experience in area economics/plan economics, cost recovery and area development (for example as an area economist, planning economist, area development advisor, real estate advisor, land affairs advisor)
- You want to develop further (personally) and you find it important to deliver good results together
