Half of Belgian investors are convinced: this is the time to invest in AI


Since the launch of ChatGPT a year ago, everyone has been crazy about artificial intelligence. The Nasdaq stock market is up almost 30% in 2023, driven by the buzz around generative AI. Belgian investors do not intend to be left behind, but some are more cautious than others…

Why is this important?

Artificial intelligence has rapidly become the driving force behind the technological revolution. Companies active in this sector are experiencing unprecedented growth. Of course, these companies also attract attention on the stock market: their value skyrockets, attracting investors and speculators looking for the next digital gem. Some see this as a bubble about to burst, while others are convinced that we are only at the beginning of a new era.

In the news: 47% of Belgian investors think this is the right time to invest in companies involved in AI, according to the ING Investor Barometer.
