Knife from Batavus Finez cashback cuts both ways

HEERENVEEN – To make it even more attractive to consumers, Batavus has started a cashback promotion, with which they can benefit from € 200 cashback when purchasing a Batavus Finez e-bike with a Bosch BES2 drive. The promotion lasts until December 31, 2023 and is supported by a major consumer campaign.

Batavus is following the successful example of sister brand Sparta, which also had a cashback promotion running a few months ago. In concrete terms, this concerns the six Batavus Finez BES2 E-go models Active Plus, Exclusive, Power, Power Sport, Power Exclusive and Power Exclusive Plus. These e-bikes are still sufficiently in stock.

Mirjam van Dijk, Brand Lead of Batavus, explains how the campaign works. “The consumer buys a Batavus Finez e-bike with Bosch BES2 from an authorized Batavus dealer and registers it online. The advantage of this is that the e-bike is immediately covered by the warranty and information about the e-bike and maintenance can be read on the personal portal. The consumer will then automatically receive a form with information about the cashback promotion to fill in further details and upload the receipt. The money will then be transferred within the foreseeable future.”

The financial settlement is handled by an external cashback agency. The dealer does not have to worry about that. “It was a very successful campaign at Sparta, which is why we are also applying it at Batavus and providing additional support through a powerful consumer campaign. We want to send more consumers to bicycle shops to help the dealer minimize their stock. At the same time, we see that new sales are coming from us to the dealers. This way, both parties benefit from the action and it cuts both ways.”
At the end of this year, Batavus will introduce the new Batavus Finez with BES3. This innovation has already been shared during the Dealer Show at the beginning of September. “The cashback promotion on the Finez BES2 e-bikes increases the price difference between the new and current Finez e-bikes. Consumers can now purchase a high-quality e-bike for a competitive price,” van Dijk continues. In addition to the consumer campaign, dealers receive promotional material to make the cashback visible on their shop floor.
