From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., emergency services from the region were ready to answer questions in a friendly and patient manner. Children could have their picture taken on a real police motorcycle, in a fire truck and of course they could also hold a fire hose. Furthermore, sirens sounded every now and then; of vehicles that arrived, but also of children who were allowed to try out how that works.
There were numerous stands in the auction hall. The KNRM was also there, as were the Veterans Search Team, WNTWeb, the Custodial Institutions Service – visitors could take a look at a real detainee bus -, the First Aid and Regio15.
Furthermore, demonstrations were given outside in the parking lot by the police and fire brigade.

The organization expected 15,000 visitors in advance. That’s how many people came to the event last year. This number certainly seems to have been achieved again. It became so busy at the chip shop that the fries ran out and visitors had to wait a while for a new supply. There was always a full line at the Regio15 stand. But the crowd was well managed and the atmosphere was great.
